ScribleSketch vs Pitch
Pitch built a collaboration-first slide tool with strong real-time editing, analytics, and a designer-friendly aesthetic. ScribleSketch keeps that polish for slides but extends to notebooks, briefs, canvases, graph, and learning from the same source, and AI composition lands typed blocks instead of editing-existing-slides.
Two doors. Same composition job.
Pick ScribleSketch when the deck has to share a source with long-form notes, graph, and learning. Pick Pitch when live collaborative slide editing with deck-specific analytics is the workflow and pure deck quality matters. The full breakdown is in the sections below.
ScribleSketch
The AI-native composition workspace — one source seeds notebooks, slide decks, and resumes from a typed block catalog.
- Pricing
- Free · Pro $12/mo · Studio $24/mo · Team $8/seat/mo
- Free tier
- Pitch Free is generous for decks specifically (unlimited decks, real-time collab). ScribleSketch Free is manual composition for notebooks, slides, briefs, and canvases from one source; Pro, Studio, and Team scale AI, blocks, roles, and audit.
- Where it shines
- Typed blocks · multi-format export · AI bundled

Team rollout — the cost most teams actually feel
$8.6k saved on a 10-seat team rollout over 12 months — versus the same workload on Pitch. The math compounds at scale; this is the line that usually decides procurement.
The case for switching.
Specifics — not slogans. Each card is something a daily user feels the friction of in Pitch.
Multi-format from one source — notebook, slide-style page, brief, and canvas share the typed-block timeline. Pitch is deck-only; long-form lives in a separate app
AI composition lands typed blocks from a prompt — Pitch's AI features (image generation, copy assist) augment an existing slide editor rather than composing the deck from scratch
Native PPTX export with real PowerPoint elements — Pitch exports to PPTX but tends to flatten layout to images, especially for custom layouts
Pro at $12/mo gives you long-form notebooks, source graphs, and learning answers alongside decks — Pitch Free is generous for decks specifically but lacks the long-form notebook surface and the multi-format export entirely
Pro at $12/mo all-in vs Pitch Pro at $20/mo (or $25/mo if billed monthly) — meaningful savings for daily composition users
Every export format, side by side.
ScribleSketch exports natively to all six. Pitch covers a subset — the formats below show which.

Typed blocks vs Pitch primitives.
ScribleSketch's atomic unit is a typed block — the AI and theme system both understand what it is. Pitch's unit is a templated card. The difference shows in how each iterates.

Templated cards look polished, but the AI and theme system don't reason about block types — re-styling means rebuilding.

The honest column.
Places Pitch is genuinely stronger. We'd rather tell you that up front than waste your time.
Pure collaborative slide editing is mature — real-time multiplayer with presence, live cursors, and threaded comments at slide level are first-class
Deck-specific analytics (view counts, time per slide, engagement) are built into shared decks — useful for sales follow-ups and conference talks
Designer-friendly default aesthetic — decks look like they came out of a design studio without much tweaking
Strong workspace model for design teams who collaborate on slides daily — agency model, in-house brand teams
Pitch's mobile app is mature for reviewing decks on the go (ScribleSketch is responsive web)
We'd rather you pick the right tool than the most-marketed one. If anything in this column outweighs the §03 list for your workflow, stay with Pitch — and we'll see you for the next job.
Two scenarios, two answers.
Different jobs deserve different tools. Honest read on when ScribleSketch fits, and when Pitch is the right call.
When ScribleSketch is the right call.
Pick ScribleSketch when the deck shares a source with a notebook, brief, canvas, graph, or learning flow, when multi-format export matters, or when AI composition (not AI image-generation-inside-an-editor) is the actual differentiator. Pro pricing also matters — $12/mo vs $25/mo monthly is a meaningful gap for solo and small-team buyers.
When Pitch is the right call.
Pick Pitch when slide collaboration with built-in deck analytics is the core daily workflow — a design team that lives in decks, a sales org tracking deck engagement, a brand team that hands off polished slide assets to a wider org.
ScribleSketch vs Pitch, in plain answers.
The questions that come up most often. Short answers, no marketing speak.
- Q
Does ScribleSketch have Pitch's deck analytics?
ANo — ScribleSketch's share links are intentionally static (no view tracking, no engagement metrics). For decks where view analytics are part of the workflow (sales follow-ups, conference decks), Pitch is the right tool. For decks where privacy and 'just send the file' is the workflow, ScribleSketch's no-tracking default is what most people actually want.
- Q
Can I edit my Pitch decks collaboratively like in Pitch?
ANot yet. ScribleSketch Team has shared source pools, role-based access, audit/admin controls, and team billing now; live presence and multiplayer editing are coming soon. If live deck co-editing is the central workflow today, Pitch is ahead.
- Q
Can I move my Pitch decks into ScribleSketch?
AYes via PPTX export from Pitch — drop the .pptx file on /imports and ScribleSketch parses the slide structure into typed blocks. The fidelity is high for text-heavy decks; image-heavy decks with Pitch's custom transitions and animations will lose those effects (PPTX as an interchange format doesn't carry them either).
- Q
Is the $8 vs $80 Team pricing real, or am I missing something?
AReal, but not apples-to-apples on live multiplayer yet. Pitch Business at $80/seat/mo includes advanced analytics, enterprise SSO, and mature deck collaboration. ScribleSketch Team at $8/seat/mo is shared library, source pools, roles, audit, and team billing, with presence coming soon. Different scope; if you don't need live deck analytics, the price gap is real.
